Atop a hill north of the city, this 40-hectare park is actually the heavily wooded cap of an extinct volcano. Spiraling to the top, the park鈥檚 paths are a treasure for the city鈥檚 robust fraternity of joggers, and provide expansive views of Xalapa and the surrounding area.
The park includes a small botanical museum and an observation platform both open 10am to 6pm.
