Museo El Café-tal Apan

Top choice in Veracruz

If you want to learn a bit more about the history of coffee in the region, visit this excellent museum, which displays antique coffee-making tools alongside modern machinery. There are hands-on demonstrations showing how coffee is grown, washed, sorted and roasted, and also coffee tastings. Purchase your coffee beans, coffee and chipotle salsa and other caffeinated goodies here. It’s a bit out of town; a taxi will cost around M$45.
