AD German Warehouse

Wisconsin

Frank Lloyd Wright returned to Richland Center, the town where he was born, to design this four-story warehouse for Albert Dell German. The Mayan Revival–style building opened in 1921 and was used to store sugar, tobacco and other goods. It now holds a gift shop, small theater and exhibition of Wright photo murals. Tours, lasting about 45 minutes, are offered on Sundays at a quarter past the hour.
