Bearded Iris Brewing

Top choice in Nashville

Its entrance at an unassuming warehouse marked by a parked military transport Unimog, this taproom's relatively nondescript external set-up belies the sudsy pleasures that await you indoors. Beer fiends flock to the chandelier-draped, tabernacle-reminiscent bar and worship Bearded Iris' calling: hazy IPAs and DIPAs, which are fresh, juicy and strong (beer $6-7).

Take your beer communion at the bar – custom-made with antique reclaimed wooden columns – or mosey on over to the vintage lounge chairs or pool table. There's no grub apart from food trucks at special events and occasionally on weekends, but guests are welcome to BYO food. Hallelujah!
