The wooden cross marking the grave of actor Dennis Hopper is wrapped in bandannas and Mardi Gras beads. They're a simple nod to his role in Easy Rider, the iconic motorcycle and road trip movie, which he also co-wrote and directed. His simple, rock-covered gravesite is behind Jesus Nazareno Church. Hopper, who died in 2010, was a long-time resident of Taos.
