Hilton Head's go-to seafood shack is a doozy, with a wonderful dockside deck on the water that brims with revelry (old-time islanders stick to the cozy indoor bar), all of which is centered on the bounties of the sea. Anything with shrimp, (seasonal) soft-shell crab or fresh oysters (they cultivate and harvest their own seasonally) will woo you.
If it's not from these waters, it's not plated. And, incidentally, Hudson's might have the South's best hush puppies.
