Local brewer Stone has transformed the former mess hall of the naval training center at Liberty Station into a temple to local craft beer. Tuck into spin-the-globe faves – grilled fish tacos, Chinese sticky ribs, spicy lamb sausage rigatoni – at long tables or comfy booths under its tall beamed ceiling, or beneath twinkling lights in its courtyard.
The bistro's multiple rooms feature brewing tanks, a tasting room and huge stone slabs from a nearby quarry; outside, play bocce or watch a flick on movie night.
