Fireman's Hall Museum

Philadelphia

Learn about everything from fire safety and old fire engines to firefighting techniques and tools at this beautiful museum, housed in a restored 1876 brick fire station. Exhibits include horse-drawn, people-drawn, motorized and steam-powered fire trucks and a recreation of living quarters typical of early professional firefighters.

Note the 'In Memory' plaques on the sidewalk, commemorating firefighters who've died in the line of duty.
