Rustic brick walls, low-lit chandeliers and worn floorboards give this lively eating and drinking spot the feel of an old European tavern. There are dozens of wines by the glass (from $11.50) plus wine flights (before 7pm weekdays, 6pm weekends), allowing you to sample a range of varietals (particularly Italian). In summer, head for the lovely patio out back.
Food is an equally important part of the Uva experience, and you can choose from wild mushroom bruschetta, Italian cheese boards and cured meats, as well as heartier fare, such as breaded calamari and baked eggplant. An antipasti plate is available in both omnivore and vegetarian versions.
