This grand post-and-beam structure with 30ft cathedral ceilings and views of mountains, meadows and birches has become an instant Stowe classic since its 2016 inauguration. Behind the semicircular blonde-wood bar, taps shaped like mountain-goat horns dispense the full lineup of pilsners and lagers brewed on-site, while the menu includes Austrian specialties like bratwurst, sauerkraut, spätzle, linzer torte and apple strudel.
Brewery tours are offered from 6pm to 7pm Tuesday, and 1pm to 2pm Saturday and Sunday ($15, including a voucher for a free flight of beers at the bar afterward).
