Griffith Park merry-go-round.

This richly festooned 1926 merry-go-round was brought to its current home in 1937, where Walt Disney would bring his young daughters and find inspiration for his future Anaheim theme park (look for the salvaged park bench Walt would perch on). The real horsehair tails on the carved horses were added and subsequently donated by actor Hugh Laurie, who featured the location in his TV series House.
