Occupying an older converted foam-green, four-story apartment building, this popular hostel is just a few blocks from the beach. Inside are fan-cooled single-sex 6-bed dorms and basic private rooms with bathrooms, a kitchen and coin-op laundry. No alcohol allowed and no daytime lockout or curfew either. Reservations are imperative (seven-night maximum stay). Limited parking ($10 per night).
