Kilauea Lodge

Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park

This renovated 1930s YMCA camp supplements history with luxury. The upscale country chic rooms with their gas fireplaces and Hawaiian quilts feel more hunting lodge than former youth camp. The honeymoon suite's wood-burning fireplace, private balcony and dual-headed shower make it our pick – but even newlyweds must share the garden hot tub. For more privacy, rent the separated cottage.

Check-in at the restaurant hostess stand. Breakfast is included.
