Haleakal膩 National Park
Holua is the easiest of the three wilderness cabins to reach, located 3.7 miles down the Halemau驶u Trail at an elevation of 6940ft. It has pit toilets and nonpotable water, plus a log burner and three fire logs per booking. The cabin and the adjacent backcountry campground have unparalleled sunrise views. May be booked online.
Permits must be picked up at Headquarters Visitor Center on the day.
