Family run and operated, the pink Kona Hotel looks like it was dipped in an ice-cream vat. The interior dates to the 1930s and has maybe been updated once since then, but this spot has history and character, and some pretty cheap rates to boot. The owners are friendly, and other guests may well include short-term boarders.
