Milk Bottle Grocery

Oklahoma

Route 66 took many different roads through Oklahoma City over the five decades when it was the transcontinental highway. For many years it passed by this tiny triangular building with a giant milk bottle on top. From 1930 through the 1960s, thirsty travelers could stop here and buy some ice-cold refreshing milk.
