Many Ritz-Carlton outposts feel a little cookie-cutter, but the Key Biscayne outpost of the empire is pretty impressive. There’s the magnificent lobby, vaulted by four giant columns lifted from a Cecil B DeMille set. Tinkling fountains, the view of the bay and the marble grandeur speak less of a chain hotel and more of early-20th-century glamour. Rooms and amenities are predictably excellent.
