Magnolia Plantation

Lovingly restored, this French Second Empire–style mansion was unique to Gainesville when constructed by a woodworker in 1885. It's still unique today. The main house boasts five rooms, 10 fireplaces (check the detailing in those mantels) and snacks around the clock. Outside, a tangled hidden garden has a pond and chairs for relaxing.
