Bay Area Discovery Museum

Below the north tower of the Golden Gate Bridge, at Fort Baker, this excellent hands-on activity museum is designed for children. Multilingual exhibits include a wave workshop, a small underwater tunnel and a large outdoor play area with a shipwreck to romp around. The museum's Bean Sprouts Café has healthy nibbles.

It's occasionally open on Mondays (9am-4pm).
