Seventeen miles northwest of Chester, this fabulously secluded place lies inside the park’s boundary. Guests, many of whom are repeat visitors, use the hot-springs-fed swimming pool or go horseback riding. Except in the main lodge, there’s no electricity (the kerosene lamps and campfires give things a lovely glow). Rates include country-style meals (vegetarian options available) and campfire barbecues every Wednesday.
This is one of the few places in the region to book up solidly, so make advance reservations as soon as possible.
