Bartlett Cove Campground

Southeast Alaska

This NPS facility a quarter-mile south of Glacier Bay Lodge is set in a lush forest just off the shoreline, and camping is free. There’s no need for reservations; there always seems to be space. It's a walk-in campground, so no RVs.

The facility provides a bear cache and warming shelter. Coin-operated showers are available in the park. The closest groceries are in Gustavus, 8 miles away.
