Kyiv National Museum of Russian Art

Kyiv

With 2000 paintings, only a fraction of which are on display at any one time, this museum, set in an impressive tsar-era mansion, has the largest collection of Russian artwork outside Moscow and St Petersburg. There's lots of Repin and Shishkin, plus a Rerikh or two. The permanent collection is on the 2nd floor, while the ground floor hosts rotating exhibits.
