Come for a morning combo of an espresso and a cinnamon doughnut or chocolate brioche – LBV is the best bakery for many miles – and then return for a more leisurely lunch of Caprese salad, or dinner of seafood paella. Cooked breakfasts are also available, and there's a good drinks list with local beers and wines from New Zealand.
The setting, in a restored colonial house nestled in gardens and lawns, is very peaceful, and local art is regularly displayed for sale. Get the kids burning off some holiday energy by running around on the grass or getting active in the small playground. Bookings are recommended for dinner.
