Hat Thong Reng

Ko Pha-Ngan

The smaller, very secluded sibling of Hat Than Sadet, is located by walking over a rickety wooden bridge and beneath the stilts of several shacks (not around the headland) at the southern end of the beach. It is a lovely cove, with good swimming, but the air of hidden paradise is somewhat spoilt by the abandoned shacks and litter piles beyond the sands. Follow the trail of people headed there, and watch your step.
