Nezha Sathaizhu Temple

This opulent four-storey Chinese temple is fronted by an enormous heaven-earth pole and filled with intricate paintings and magnificent sculptures. Dragons and bats (which signify fortune) feature heavily in the decor. Locals regularly come to make merit, and temple volunteers are happy to explain the rituals if you want to make your own offerings. The temple is on the main road in Ang Sila, about 5km north of Bang Saen beach.
