Memory at On On Hotel

Phuket Town

This longtime classic played a dingy backpacker dive in the Leonardo DiCaprio film The Beach (2000), but has now been reimagined while keeping its old-school style: helicopter fans, wooden staircase, tile-covered floors and an artefact-stuffed lobby. The stylish, stripped-back contemporary rooms have wood-panelled floors, rain showers and vibrant shutters (though some are a little stuffy).
