ZSTC Clove Buying Centre

Pemba

This is where the Zanzibar State Trading Corporation (ZSTC) buys cloves in bulk from local farmers (usually between July and February). To get here, go southwards on the main road for about 500m and it's just past the post office. This place is best visited along with the ZSTC Clove Oil Distillery in combination with a spice tour, which can be arranged through local tour companies.
