Beautiful wetlands teeming with life rendered surreal by the sight of wind turbines on the horizon. It is especially photogenic at sunset and makes for a nice day out for the family. Take a local train to Qingshui (清水), then board bus 178 (NT$20, 30 minutes). There are only five buses a day, so consider taking a taxi (NT$300). Many people go at sunset for phenomenal views.
