Caribelle Batik

St Kitts & Nevis

Set in a former plantation Great House tinged in shades of citrus, mint and tangerine, Caribelle Batik has churned out gorgeous batik products since 1974. Local ladies demonstrate and explain the process of creating the often-intricate designs that you can buy in the attached store. While you're here, take a spin around the surrounding gardens with their 350-year-old saman tree.

To visit, you'll need to pay to enter the gardens at Romney Manor (EC$5 per person).
