Housed in a 40-year-old building, this atmospheric restaurant serves up delicious makguksu, a Gangwon-do speciality. The buckwheat noodles are served cold, garnished with vegies, pork slices and half a hard-boiled egg. Set back from the main road on a side street, the restaurant has a vertical red sign with white lettering and a parking lot out front.
You can have makguksu dry or add broth from a kettle, as well as mustard, sugar, vinegar and spicy gochujang (red-pepper paste) to taste.
