Miriam C Schmidt Botanical Gardens

Sint Eustatius

On the lower eastern slopes of the Quill, these botanical gardens have suffered from hurricane damage, drought and roaming animals, and are in the process of being restored. Since the road leading to the grounds is often impassable even with a 4WD, it's best to approach on foot. The Bird Trail, a 300m side trail off the Around the Mountain Trail, provides access.
