Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar

Bairro Alto, Chiado & Cais do Sodré

Set in the same street where Júlio Pomar lives and works, this museum, with two spaces housing temporary exhibitions, feels like an art gallery showcasing the Portuguese Modernist's work alongside artists from younger generations.

The arrangement of the pieces might seem chaotic, but it is simply emulating the unconventional order of the cosmos, where planets move according to the laws of physics, and are not perfectly aligned.
