Bandar Jissah Viewpoint

This viewpoint (yet to be properly developed) on the road between Al Bustan and Bandar Jissah offers a fine panoramic vista of the chocolate-coloured mountains that distinguish the area. Comprised of ophiolite, these low peaks present a jagged edge to the sea and contrast with the grey limestone of the Hajar Mountains further inland. Directly opposite, a paved track leads to a cycling trail offering even better views.
