Buddha Park

Ulaanbaatar

Buddha Park is harder to appreciate these days since the construction of a high-rise, commercial development that encompasses the 23m-high Sakyamuni statue. Below the statue is a small room containing thangkas, Sutras and images of the Buddha and his disciples. When it was erected in 2007, five tons of juniper were placed inside.

To get there, catch bus 8 or 52 from the Bayangol Hotel.
