Ino Japanese Paper Museum

Shikoku

Discover the history and development of washi (Japanese paper) at Ino, about 10km west of downtown Kōchi. There are demonstrations of nagashizuki papermaking techniques and on the first Sunday of every month, there's a papermaking class (?400; in Japanese only). Check out the excellent English website for details. The museum is a 10-minute walk from both the Ino JR and tram stations.
