Housed in a 16th-century tower, its six rooms and two mini-apartments are cosy and rustically furnished with terracotta floors and colourful artworks. Best of all is the panoramic flower-filled garden on top of Castiglione's medieval walls, which commands grandstand views over the placid lake below.
