Housed in a former monastery, Scicli's Museo del Costume mainly explores the costumes and fashions of the region. The collection spans several centuries and offers atmospheric insight into the living conditions, traditions and tastes of locals through the ages. One-hour guided tours are available in English but should be requested a day ahead by phone.
The museum also hosts regular talks, readings, exhibitions and folk-music performances.
