Beyond the sea wall is a cluster of blackened rocks, the largest of which is named after the goddess Andromeda. According to Greek mythology, Andromeda was chained here as a sacrificial victim but was snatched from the jaws of the great sea monster by Perseus on his winged horse. As yet, there is no statue on the rocks, but it makes a good backdrop for a photo.
