Kiltartan Gregory Museum

County Galway

A charming stone schoolhouse built in 1892 now contains this museum, which traces the life of WB Yeats' literary patron, Lady Augusta Gregory, through photographs, manuscripts and objects from her former home at Coole Park. The schoolhouse was designed by Lady Gregory's brother, Frank Persse. It's 4km north of Gort.
