Rajabai Clock Tower

Mumbai (Bombay)

On the Fort campus of the University of Mumbai is this 84m-high Venetian/Gothic monument, inspired by London's Big Ben. Completed in 1878, it was designed by English architect Sir George Gilbert Scott and harbours some of Mumbai's most beautiful stained glass. There is no public access, but it's well worth admiring from the street.

The tower was awarded Unesco World Heritage status in 2018.
