Lankra Vir

Himachal Pradesh

Within the Bhimakali inner courtyard, to the right of the two towers, the building with conical slate-roofed spire enshrines a club-wielding Lankra Vir image in the room beside the little museum chamber.

Up to the 18th century, human (then till 2013, animal) sacrifices were performed here.
