Parliament Visitors' Centre

Budapest

The underground Parliament Visitors' Centre to the north of the Parliament building has reams of information and sells tour tickets. There's also a large and very good bookshop and a permanent exhibition called 1000 Years of Hungarian Legislation, which traces the history of governance and law-making via various media. It's free and open 9am to 5pm.
