Petrified Forest

Amateur geologists will appreciated the petrified forest, an expanse of trees fossilised several million years ago. It's located on the coast around 16km southeast of Neapoli, the last three on a fairly rough road. There are lots of fossils here besides the trees, and it's a spectacular spot, perfect for a plunge and a picnic.
