Founded in 1919, the Bauhaus was a seminal school of avant-garde architecture, design and art that was shut down by the Nazis in Berlin in 1933. The museum is undergoing extensive renovation and expansion and is set to reopen in 2023. In the meantime you can visit the museum's temporary location at Knesebeckstrasse 1-2.
