The 7m outrigger canoe suspended from the ceiling in the main lobby and the stunning balcony views create a powerful first impression at this much-touted resort. From the main building, an artificial stream meanders through lush gardens to a huge, lagoon-style pool. It can get noisy with excited kids, but there's an adult-only pool for others to retreat to if needed.
The bures, with their high, hand-painted masi ceilings, are fabulous, as is the day spa with its superb hilltop location. There’s a kids club and children eat for free (depending on which package you have). Dive Away Fiji runs the dive shop here.
