Built in 2017 to blend in with the landscape, with grasses and wildflowers growing on the roof, this state-of-the-art visitor centre has a permanent exhibition on the landscape, culture and history of Northumberland alongside various temporary exhibitions, and serves as a tourist information centre. There's a panoramic rooftop terrace. a cafe and a spiffing YHA hostel.
