Iglesia de la Regina Angelorum

Santo Domingo

Paid for by a woman who donated her entire fortune to construct this monument for the cloistered Dominican Sisters, this church was built toward the end of the 16th century. In addition to its imposing facade, the church is known for its elaborate, 18th-century baroque altar, which is crowned with the king’s coat of arms.
