Looking suitably cool with its turquoise floors and pale ribbed wood, Mikkeller & Friends is a joint venture of the Mikkeller and To Øl breweries. Beer geeks go gaga over the 40 artisan draft beers and circa 200 bottled varieties, which might include a chipotle porter or an imperial stout aged in tequila barrels. Limited snacks include dried gourmet sausage and cheese.
A sneaky passageway at the back of the venue leads into Koelschip, a wonderfully snug, vintage-style beer bar with around 250 Belgian and Belgian-style brews.
