Ronny’s Place

Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio & Around

The insane views of two pristine bays and jungle on all sides at Ronny's Place make it worth a detour for a drink and a tasty meal (mains US$14-70). While plenty of places along this stretch of road boast similar views, the off-the-beaten-path location makes it feel like a secret find. Look for the well-marked dirt road off the main drag.

There's a long cocktail list of around two-dozen favorites, plus imported beers. Order special mains like coconut breaded shrimp, whole red snapper or a seafood platter for two with lobster, tuna, mahi-mahi and calamari with garlic sauce. The stone tables out front are the best for sunset viewing.
