Shangri-la

For the best views over Shangri-la, head to this delightfully named and little-visited temple. The temple has a couple of monks inside and a handful of chickens wandering around outside. To get here, walk along the narrow paths behind Kersang鈥檚 Relay Station, past the deserted temple, continue uphill and you鈥檒l see it on the left. It's busiest in the mornings, when locals come to make offerings.
